PD Dr. med. Yves Brand
Dr. Yves Brand completed his medical degree at the University of Basel in 2005. He became a Swiss-licensed otolaryngologist and head & neck surgeon, and in 2016, was elected as associate professor in otolaryngology at the University of Basel. Dr. Brand pursued a research fellowship at the University of California, San Diego (USA) from 2010 to 2011, and in 2015, he completed a clinical fellowship in Rhinology with a focus on endoscopic skull base surgery in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Currently, Dr. Brand serves as the head of the Department of Otolaryngology at the Cantonal Hospital Graubünden in Chur, Switzerland, where he leads a multidisciplinary team specializing in the diagnosis and treatment of ear, nose, and throat conditions. His expertise is particularly focused on advanced rhinology and skull base surgery.
Dr. Brand has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications in the field of otolaryngology and is a frequent presenter at international conferences. His research interests include innovations in minimally invasive surgical techniques and the management of complex sinonasal and skull base pathologies.
Prof. Dr. med. Frank Riedel
Prof. Riedel is an Associate Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at Mannheim University Hospital, affiliated with the University of Heidelberg, and runs a private practice in Mannheim, Germany. With over 20 years of experience, he is board-certified by the International Federation of Facial Plastic Surgery Societies and is a leading expert in aesthetic and functional rhinoplasty. He is currently the President-Elect of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery (EAFPS). Prof. Riedel is also a key member of the chairman committee for the German Rhinoplasty Congress in Frankfurt.
At our Rhinoplasty Masterclass, he will present advancements in rhinoplasty, emphasizing the integration of preservation techniques with precision structural augmentation to achieve superior functional and aesthetic results.
